I realized something very important about receiving prophetic words or promises from the Lord. When you receive a prophetic word, God isn’t looking for you to figure it out and work up the faith to bring it to pass. He’s simply looking for agreement. He’s looking for someone to be an access point of Heaven into Earth’s realm. The way to come into agreement with Him is by releasing your Amen.
“For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us–by me, Silvanus, and Timothy–was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” – 2Cr 1:19-20 NKJV[i]
Jesus is forever Heaven’s Amen. Jesus is Heaven’s way of saying, “Yes, we’ll do it.” Now God is looking for your Amen. So when you receive a word or promise from God, just say to Heaven, “Ok, let’s do it.”
